Michelle Obama is an impressive, phenomenal woman

She seems to be a completely principled person, one who acts with integrity, who hold principles close to her heart.

Like my own mother, she's a person who always looks for the good in others. I like that about her. It's lucky for others on the political stage that she finds a way to see the good in anyone. I bet that she is a believer in the principle that "the line between good and evil runs through every person's heart." I'm a believer in that, too.

She is so genuine. Her principles probably don't change with the weather; she has a moral compass that underlies the way she keeps being classy all the time. I can't imagine her compromising those principles in order to win personal attention or gain, not for wealth or fame. I trust her character, every day.

Her husband is not far behind her in that regard, but in order to get anywhere in politics in America today, there are probably some truths that a political leader cannot focus on too intently. I respect him tremendously for so many reasons, and I am really glad that he has such a grounded, decent, intelligent, principled, beautiful woman as Michelle. It is part of who he is.

May God hold her and her family in the palm of his hands and may they walk in unbounded strength and joy through the next many decades of their life. They've earned a rest, but I expect that they will set their sights on new challenges, to help make the world and the United States a better place.

I love having these wonderful role models like Michelle for my children. I hope she has great success in her life after the White House.

if you don't talk to them, then they will never hear what we really think. It would do them good, and I think that people should be paid for their time, unless you think that everyone should just do it for free.

I jokingly said that he should name her to the Supreme Court just to make Rush's head explode, as well as most of the Fox News anchors. But, she's certainly more qualified than some of W's questionable nominees to the federal judiciary.

Is it ever. The new, right-wing President of Argentina has even hired a consultant to remake his socially maladroit wife "in the style of Michelle Obama" (the consultant's own words).

While Mrs. Obama would no doubt be flattered, my guess is that her first words of advice to Mrs. Macri would be: "honey, lose the sweatshop."

And probably responsible for shaping much of his world-view.

I agree, she's an excellent human being.

and the political reach of the presidency itself, but...

The last 8 years have been an eye opener for me on how inspiring and how positive the reach of the first family can have with issues like food, health/exercise, you name it. The Obama's have been a force for good on every level and I will miss them greatly, come January.
