While reporting on the sudden death of music legend Prince on Thursday, CNN host Wolf Blitzer mistakenly referred to Purple Haze to describe Princes contributions to music and pop culture.
The song is, of course, Purple Rain, Princes most famous hit. Purple Haze is by Jimi Hendrix.
