Not only that, these news outfits are actually shining right now. Hmmmm...what to make of that compared to the circus they put on when doing politics.

If not, it isn't news, it's a eulogy.
Not saying it isn't warranted (he certainly was a notable artist), but it isn't news.
In other news today, a 2 year old "accidentally" killed himself with his mother's loaded handgun that was left in his reach.
No eulogies for that child, though. Or the many more like him every year. And no chance for those kids to grow up to become creative geniuses, great diplomats, amazing mathematicians, or anything else.
Sorry if that's being too contrarian, but I read the thread on the 2 year old (which I'm sure has since sunk to at least the third page) right before I saw the first of several on Prince. It just hit me that way.
