http://us.blastingnews.com/showbiz-tv/2016/04/ted-cruz-snaps-in-hate-filled-rant-slams-espn-for-firing-curt-schilling-00888607.htmlSchilling, a former analyst for ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball TV show, has been open about his conservative political views, often being described by critics as far right-wing on the political spectrum. On Schilling's personal Facebook account, he described himself as "Conservative pro life pro 2nd amendment American who wants to help those that cannot help themselves." When the news of Schilling's firing became public, it wasn't a surprise when conservatives and Republicans took his side, especially in regards to his opposition to recent anti-trans bathroom bills. As pointed out by Talking Points Memo on April 21, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came to the side of the now unemployed former baseball player.
"ESPN fired Curt Schilling for making the rather obvious point that we shouldnt allow grown male adult strangers alone in a bathroom with little girls," Cruz said while appearing on The Glenn Beck radio show Thursday afternoon. Cruz continued, stating that anyone with "rational" should understand Schilling's objection.
The senator from the Lone Star State went even further, warning that if people don't support the bathroom bills against transgender Americans, "repulsive perverts and criminals" will attack "little girls" in public bathrooms. Host Glenn Beck agreed with Cruz, saying that if the bathroom bills could potentially "save one little girl," they must be supported.

(86,622 posts)the same story that a certain set of Rs claimed about wolves (the real four-legged furry kind) when the were reintroduced in ID and YNP. They would go barnstorming around the region claiming that "It's just a matter of time before some innocent little girl will be eaten by a wolf while waiting for the school bus in the dark!" But there are no children who stand out in the dark waiting for a schoolbus because parents will either drive their kids to school or sit with them in a car waiting for the bus. But they think - yeah like that ever happens with those two brain cells they have - it could happen and that's all that matters as long as you hate wolves too or they can get you to hate wolves too.
It's exactly the same BS line which we should all be able to smell from a long distance anymore.

(20,851 posts)hate him. Ted is supposed to be a small government type person and Curt is case example number 1 of how private companies can totally blow government funds. But of course Curt personally was a big government leach and a total failure at balancing budgets and fiscal responsibility which we all know Ted is too.
Conservatism, it's all fake. Every last thing is fake.

(31,389 posts)because they are the ones obsessed with who's doing what to whom in what bedroom and bathroom.
I'd love to see some talking head confront Ted Cruz with facts about sexual abuse of children:
they are most frequently abused by people they know and often in their own homes. It's the Jason
Duggar molesting his sister--or the dad, or uncle, or mother's boyfriend--in the little girl's own
bedroom or the priest at church molesting the little boy.
I'll bet Ted Cruz is a pervert. Take a look at how his own daughter resists being touched by him. It's no
wonder he's obsessed about going in to a women's room and peeping at little girls. The guy is totally creepy.
