A lot of my musical icons are gone.

Prince. Whitney. Michael. Biggie. Pac. Aaliyah.





I also had the Purple Rain and Thriller ALBUMS.

it was such a shock to come home from school to discover those albums "proudly broken" and in the trash.

Our mother was an odd one.

Once we came home to my older sister's bikini cut up and hung on the indoor clothesline.


we didn't even know she knew there was a bikini.
