Organizers .. alerted Stone Mountain authorities they expect between 200 and 2,000 participants for .. the first “open white power” rally since .. last summer’s mass shooting in a black church in Charleston ... Such a .. range means organizers aren’t sure who is coming ... Among the organizers and supporters are members of various Ku Klux Klans, Aryan Nation sects and other white nationalist organizations ...

All Out ATL ... formed specifically to oppose Rock Stone Mountain ... Organizers claim between 300 and 1,000 participants — another big range ... However, a lot of student organizations and anti-fascist groups have signed on to the effort ...

Another group .. demonstrating against Rock Stone Mountain is a hodgepodge ... This group includes Confederate flag enthusiasts who want to distinguish themselves from the white supremacist group. They will be joined by elements of the anarchist collective Anonymous, which pledged to disrupt the main rally, and their new allies in the militia movement ...

it's just that "white cisgender heterosexual Christian male" used to be the only group that mattered. And now that they're not some of them have an unseemly amount of resentment about it.

I don't think black power, woman power or gay power would exist unless predicated wholly on the historical and exclusionary role of institutional white power which, by its very existence and agenda, prevented that same cohesive whole.

I think the newer "power" groups are simply attempting to fully integrate rather than control-- which isn't about power at all, but rather equality.

Ignoring that contributes to irrational, bumper-sticker thinking equating A to X without evidence, and from that, basing a premise upon such a flawed construct.
