Cats were worshipped as gods in ancient Egypt and mine never tired of reminding me of that fact.

(1,725 posts)is a polydactyl cat (with BIG thumbs). Ernest Hemingway had many of these in Key West and there are many offspring of them still there. (Bussie looks like the cat reading the book). He hasn't taken over the world yet but he has stolen our hearts! A real sweetie!

(269,093 posts)When some of them were kittens, we played with them with a noisy little plastic ball. Now if we're late with breakfast, they play with the ball to wake us up. It's seriously hilarious.
