Why go?" Koch said. "We're not interested in politics. We're interested in moving us towards a culture and policies that will enable people to improve their lives."

Koch also criticized the conservative support for House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) as president, saying he shouldn't be considered a contested convention's "white knight." Bastards are running scared. A whole wave of "look-how-nice-we-are" books, appearances, TV appearances, articles. I'm wondering where their dark money's going. They say they're not investing in candidates this election. I'm saying connection with them would be the kiss of death for most candidates and it's more important now than ever that their money not be traced back to them.

Others, more faceless, of the 30,000 in the big-funder class can still invest without extra-special precautions.
