Although I have a mental ignore list of people whose posts I don't read anymore.

I also just don't read a lot of posts, not so much avoiding the people as just knowing it'll be the same old broken record and/or same old nastiness and dishonesty.

but I've trashed the entire GD-P forum so the only time I have to trash threads is when one of their denizens crawls out of the cesspool to post in a grown up group.

I also turn down jury requests involving GD-P.

I have about 40 on my ignore list, most left over from the days 5 hides earning an unpaid vacation from DU.

There are always other sites that can be trolled.

Not to mention.

It would kind of defeat the purpose of being here.

If I've clicked it and thought it was a dumb op - or the title is boring/doesn't interest me I throw it in the trash.

What actually happens when you "trash" a thread?

If I don't like it I keep scrolling.

Try to be civil with everyone, sometimes quite a challenge. When that quits working for me, I will take a long vacation.

The number goes up when the 'outrage of the day' floods the board with the same topic posts, again, and again, and again. Enough is enough; off to the dung heap.

Whenever we have a new infestation of Brockwursts, I get a little busy.
And the "unity" things - nope. Gone.

I just don't read the ones I don't find interesting. I don't ignore anyone either.

People are entitled to their opinion on this forum. Doesn't mean I have to trash them.

There's no reason to click on and read a thread if you know it's going to be a cesspool.

Coincidentally, that's the same as the number of people I've placed on "ignore".
