Women's Issues

In a conversation that I had with a friend, I expressed my support for Bernie Sanders and she supported Hillary Clinton.
She said to me, "But what about women's issues?" She said that Clinton apologized for her vote on Iraq.

My answer was that that wouldn't be much of a comfort to the mothers, sisters, and wives who lost their people in that stupid war. I can't think of any issue that would be more important to women than keeping us out of ill-gotten wars that kill our children and other family members, not to mention the innocents in the countries we attack.

Women's issues. Those are mine.

just what "women's issues" she thinks Clinton has a better record on than Sanders. As a Sanders supporter, I have no qualms in saying that Clinton is very strong on reproductive choice and she believes fervently in gender equality. However, you can say the exact same things about Sanders. Plus you can also say that he has a much more appealing plan for family leave; that his views on issues like the minimum wage and single-payer health care are much better for women who aren't well off; and that he doesn't support foreign intervention that has done significant harm to women and children in other countries.
