The Atlantic and Arctic oceans and global warming

A brief rundown of wassup.

In the Atlantic, the Gulfstream flows north along the coast of the US. The warm waters in that stream come from the S. Atlantic. Used to be, before the Atlantic warmed up so much, the furthest north it caused ice to melt in the Arctic ocean was around Iceland.

Now the Gulfstream is flowing further north and reaching the eastern Arctic ocean and is warming the N coast of Russia. There is very little sea ice left along the Siberian coast these days.

In the Arctic is now a warmer water circulation flowing counter clockwise. As that water piles up against the Arctic ice, it melts that ice and that melted fresh water is pushed down along the west coast of Greenland and into the N Atlantic.

Fresh water floats on top of salt water. Therefore it is causing satellites to pick up a cold water pool signature south of Greenland. The Gulfstream is flowing under that cold pool on its way to the Arctic.

This new flow is huge and will continue until there is another global change.

The only people I can see happy about this are ocean front landowners in Siberia and other N Russians.

Teach your children well.

Inland, 350 feet above sea level is good advice. Somewhere way back up a hollow.

Grow food, have good water and practice ducking.
