Trump draws fans, critics at Delaware rally

http://www.delawareonline.com/story/news/2016/04/22/tempers-flare-trump-rally/83413038/

Jennifer D’Angelo, a white woman who adopted two African American children, doesn’t understand why critics of Donald Trump call him a racist....

As the 20-year Democrat-turned-Republican touted Trump’s “balls to the wall attitude,” she passed an 18-year-old parading around in a Trump mask and spandex unitard near a hat vendor catcalling, “Don’t be queer. Come get your Trump gear.”

“I don’t get how people can come over here and get free healthcare,” D’Angelo, 41, continued, as she passed a $2 American flag stand and a T-shirt seller peddling “Hillary sucks but not like Monica” shirts.

“All of us have moments where we say something stupid,” D’Angelo concluded, lumping the bombastic billionaire with her husband.

but cheered when he invoked walling off that “Swiss cheese” border."

“What happened to the word illegal?” the 59-year-old continued. “I’m offended by saying press one for English. It’s our country. It should be about God. White people are the minority.”

To illustrate her point, Stachnick said a perfectly nice Guatemalan family moved next door to her, but she worries whenever a large white van pulls up to their house.

“He’s going to build a border to stop Mexicans from bringing drugs into this country,” said daughter, Elizabeth, 11. Older brother Matthew, 12, who cradled one of Trump’s many bestselling books, said he appreciated the candidate for “the whole jobs thing.”
