A college basketball coach famous for bullying, berating, verbally abusing and sometimes physically abusing his players will now campaign for a leading presidential candidate famous for bullying and berating anyone who dares question him.
Only in America, baby.
Donald Trump's campaign announced Monday that Bobby Knight will join the billionaire presidential candidate for a rally in Indianapolis on Wednesday. Knight became a legend in the Hoosier State while leading Indiana University to a long run of success, including three national titles, in the 1970s, 80s and 90s. The Indiana primary is May 3.
Trump frequently aligns himself with celebrities, but seldom has a pairing been more apt. Many know Trump for his history of sexist comments. Many also know him for more current proposals that reek of bigotry.
