Give a dog a job with Ratapalooza

I promised I'd end that ugly fight ripping America apart, the one between the Audubon Society's gentle bird-watchers and those Crazy Feral Cat Ladies.

So let's do it the Chicago Way, with this catchy slogan:

Give a Dog a Job.

My dog-employment plan will bring neighborhoods together for drinking and barbecue and safe family fun in cities across the land. And it'll have betting, too.

or if they are a different breed of rat, but what I found in my drive way was WAY bigger than the rats I remember seeing when I was a kid.

The rat in my drive way was about the size of a full grown squirrel or larger, I know it was heavier. It was dead, as well as a squirrel a few days earlier and some mice scattered through out the year. A gift from a feral cat who I had fed when he showed up. He would crouch under my van waiting for me to notice and I would go and give him some food. I had hoped to tame him enough to capture him to be neutered. The fact that these dead animals appeared a day or two after I would feed him, and always be near where I fed him, I realized that it was he that had been leaving these 'gifts'.

I was shocked at the size of the rat, it was huge. The wild rats that I remember seeing were about the size of the rats you see in the pet stores. This rat could easily be 2 to 3 times bigger than the biggest rat I've seen in a pet store. A Jack Russell could not get his mouth around it's middle, it would have to be a bigger dog.
