Any other DUers wonder if both the crazy speech and the stupid

VP announcement were well timed as diversion to the Hastert sentencing!
They can ignore it but ReTHUG Speaker Denny's fall is uuuuuuuuuuugeeeeeeeeeeee!]/b]!

The general public has a fairly short memory and doesn't actually care much about Hastert any more. 'Politician turns out to be a massive hypocrite' isn't that big of a news story, and Hastert hasn't been politically active in recent years. Close to an election I might agree but at this time I doubt it would have any great impact. The GOP is a lot more worried about Trump than about Hastert.
