The DLC, third way, blue dog republicrats are NOT our own. They are bought off corporate kochsuckers the same as the Republicans.

Even when we win, as in 2006 and 2008, we don't win. Not us, the peon little guy, the "fucking retards" who expect Democrats to act like Democrats.

It's long past time to wake up and realize our party has been infiltrated and taken over by our mortal enemies.

All we have is the Progressive caucus and Bernie Sanders. The rest will continue to backstab us at every opportunity. We have to take out the trash but we can't even do that because of the money in politics.

this was never a guaranteed win, and if the DNC helped more it still wouldnt be guaranteed. Just because we lost doesnt mean we should destroy anything. Plus, we won control of the senate.

we'll turn MI's first district blue (yeah, and it's over 30 counties!), I am on board with my county party and we're setting up our local office now, I've already done some fundraising for Senator Stabenow's re-election and will do more and I am going to help my home county party as well as the surrounding counties raise funds to help elect progressives locally. Pretty much what I usually do.

And so, whatchadoin' these days to affect all the progressive change we all long for?

This is why I ca't stress enough how important it is to get active locally and then spread the effort. People who make it happen tend to achieve leadership positions. We need to be the ones to make it happen. We can pack the meetings, become the boards, fund and elect the progressives at state and local (and then national) levels. I've seen it done to some degree (contributed what help I could) and so know first hand it can be done on a larger scale.

Ok, getting off soap-box now. As an activist yourself I reckon I'm preachin' to the choir.

... the fight left this party decades ago. The last fighter we had, Howard Dean, got ran out on a rail. The party doesn't WANT to win, their masters told them to lose.

I've still got a little fight left in me. Fuck Al From and the DLC if they don't like Howard Dean. He was the best thing our party experienced in a long time.
