Group says Florida faces a 'corruption crisis'

(Someone has been reading my posts)

TALLAHASSEE — A nonprofit research group is pressing lawmakers and Gov. Rick Scott to "dust off" Florida's antiquated laws for how public officeholders conduct themselves, citing a "corruption crisis" in the state.

Next week, the Florida Commission on Ethics is slated to approve its annual wish-list for reforms to the state's ethics laws, a document that frequently gets ignored in the halls of the Capitol.

Integrity Florida, a start-up research group in Tallahassee, wants to focus attention on the issue ahead of the June 15 commission meeting. On Wednesday, it released a report that cited federal statistics to make the claim that Florida "faces a corruption crisis that threatens the state's reputation, its economy and its ability to attract new jobs and capital."

And its director said he'd met with Scott's office and was confident that ethics reform would have more traction in the 2013 legislative session.

Florida Legislature is completely corrupt. To be fair though, not any more than several other states... Texas and Mississippi come immediately to mind.

There is a living, breathing culture of patronage out in the community. The laws mean absolutely nothing. It's all based on a merit system that rewards corruption. And it is so endemic nobody knows what to do to fix it, because one goes down, they all go down.

It came in on little cat's feet. When government officials attend Rotary Club meetings every Friday morning to talk to the "key players" in the community, then assume that the democratic process has been hijacked. I mean, these morons really believe that the word of "an old man" makes up for doing their own regulatory review of documents. And when they find out they're wrong and realize that they participated in fraud, they shrug and say, hey, we listened to an "old man."

Yeah, I've got that on paper. And it's from the city attorney!

The thing is, that it was the city's decision to pay for the City Manager's Rotary Club membership from the beginning. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't membership into the Rotary Club by referral only? THERE'S your plutocracy. THAT's what Republicans don't want to give up.

In a state where government officials have intentionally and wrongfully entangled proven criminally-corrupt Judge David P. Kreider in the nation’s 2012 election process sadly these findings should come as no surprise. Countless heads need to roll and, to many, a lot of years in prison need to be doled out. It’s a shame that things in Florida have gotten to the current stage. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) should take a moment to read the information at the following url (updated information originally circulated on 06/04/2012):

http://floridavoices.com/inbox/sunshine-state-should-work-rebuild-trust-openness

The information is 100% true and that is easily recognized…especially when one considers all the information that has been circulated thus far, all the deceptive tactics employed by the co-conspirators thus far, and the noticeable absence of public rebuttals to our highly public claims regarding proven crimes by public officials and others. That being the case, and assuming “Florida Voices” is a company with integrity, the information should remain displayed. However, I’m not familiar with the history of the company/website so I can’t swear that they won’t pull the information down. THIS IS SERIOUS and although many won’t be surprised…many will rightfully be p’d-off with the wanton lawlessness displayed by our supposed societal leaders. It truly is sickening. The public, legal professionals, and law-abiding public servants should be aware.

Also refer to the following urls when reviewing the information at the above url :

http://www.complaints.com/2012/march/14/Corrupt_Judge_David_P._Kreider_now_taints_the_ele_264712.htm

and

http://www.complaints.com/2012/may/21/Corrupt_Judge_David_P._Kreider_now_taints_the_ele_266368.htm

The troubling reason for the existence of multiple urls is explained near the bottom of the webpages corresponding to the first two urls listed.

The issues addressed at these urls go high…that’s an undeniable fact. They probably reach higher than you think. There needs to be a serious “cleaning of the slate” in parts of the state’s government.

Everything stated here is substantiated by two irrefutable reports and extensive corroborating evidence that is in the possession of agencies, including those within Florida’s 8th Judicial Circuit (and the Chief Judge’s office and SAO Chief Investigator Spencer Mann). The comprehensive reports and evidence span a total of more than 100 pages and in-depthly detail criminal activities carried out under the color of law by criminal/judge David P. Kreider and various other co-conspirators.

I mean, you can't make this shit up.

Scott wants to start investigating corruption? And his first step is to turn back the clock to rules in place a hundred years ago, when it was probably worse?

Where's George Carlin when we need him? He could do 10 minutes on something like this, and we'd be rolling in the aisles to boot.

If this continues, Florida might not be known as American's wang any longer. Or the place where democracy and senior citizens go to die. Or the home of the most bat-shit insane headlines you'll ever see. Something must be done to save Florida's reputation!

I would blame it on its proximity to the South, except that Central Florida is good ole boy corrupt too.
