NCAA Votes: No Final Four in Anti-LGBT Cities

The NCAA's Board of Governors voted late Wednesday to institute a new requirement for cities bidding on the league's events—from the Final Four to educational events: They must have anti-discrimination laws in place to protect "the dignity of everyone involved in the event." The rule comes in addition to previous decisions to require access for people with disabilities. "The Association considers the promotion of inclusiveness in race, religion, sexual orientation and gender identity as a vital element to protecting the well-being of student-athletes, promoting diversity in hiring practices and creating a culture of fairness," the NCAA said in a statement.

It is wonderful to see.

I can't wait to see the Republicans decry the market forces telling them their nonsense is unacceptable.

Should be some awesome twisting.
