What recurring stories in the news do you actively work to ignore?

And shove them away, even when it seems that they won't go away.

Some stories I just refuse to give life to by paying them any attention at all (or at least not more than one day if I have to).

Humphries dating Kim K. wanna-be?
Kris Humphries has had a new girlfriend since mid-January, according to new reports.

TMZ reports that Humphries has been secretly dating 25-year-old brunette Fatmire Sinanaj, who happens to look a lot like his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.

While Humphries' marriage to Kardashian lasted just 72 days, according to the site's sources it took the NBA player approximately the same amount of time to move on.

Sources say that Humphries, 27, and his new paramour started seeing each other in mid January. Kardashian had filed for divorce from Humphries on Oct. 31.

Humphries was photographed with Sinanaj on a beach in Miami over the weekend, with many noting that the curvy brunette bore a distinct resemblance to Kardashian. However, Humphries told TMZ that he had never met Sinanaj and just happened to take the beach chair next to her. Photographs did not show the pair interacting.

It's people with an agenda that want another war now that Iraq is over and Afghanistan is (maybe) ending.

The probably don't have nuclear capabilities anyway, and even if they do, it's Israel's problem, not ours.

But I tuned into Stephanie Miller's show today and I'm feeling better now. That seems to work every day. She can make everything seem okay for now.

I was standing behind a guy at Wendy's, who was complaining about a 40 cent sales tax for his food. He told the girl at the counter that we don't need taxes or government. I asked him how he would get home without a street to drive on or who would put his house out if it caught fire. He called me a Communist. I called him a Fox Dittohead. I think I won that exchange.

Most everything except economic/financial issues, social disintegration, the ongoing rewriting of history, and some politics. Oh and cartoons/comics, laughing is good for you.
