CNN showed the media how to rip the mask off of Donald Trump by doggedly repeating three little letters until Trump would answer a question.
Notice that Trump did not want to tell viewers that what he was talking about was a tariff. Experts have already warned that Trumps tariffs plan could be an economic disaster that would provoke a trade war, and if Chris Cuomo wouldnt have asked Trump wouldnt have admitted that he was referring to a proposal that would damage the US economy.
H-o-w? That simple three-letter question should be asked by any member of the media who interviews him from now until Election Day. Trump has been able to fluffibuster through interviews by not saying anything and sticking to his empty promises that mean nothing.
When Trump gets pushed, he crumbles. There is nothing behind the empty salesmanship. Donald Trump is a dangerous empty suit who is trying to con his way into the White House.

(14,308 posts)Most people have a general pattern of speech that they will make a claim. Then in the next sentence they will give an example or a piece of evidence.
I'm a New York Jets fan, so this is from love.
For example a person might say.

The Jets draft sucked.
That is the claim. The next sentence would give an example.
Drafting that quarterback in round two who's a multi-year project was wrong for a team without a starting quarterback.

Now look at Trump. First he makes the claim.
I'm going to win New York State in the general election.
Then to offer evidence for his assertion, he adds the following
That I can tell you.

And people seem to accept that as evidence that what he said has been proven.
It's actually pretty interesting.
