Apparently, if you are a right-wing child molester, you're not a pervert, you're the victim

One of the biggest supporters of the LGBTQ bathroom bans is The American Family Association - the ones who are sending conservative cis men into women's bathrooms to make you afraid of the trans "perverts" (http://gawker.com/emergency-parental-alert-conservative-men-are-hanging-1774265925) is - SUPRISE - defending Josh Duggar and convicted child molester Dennis Hastert as "victims" of "targeting to completely destroy the family."

You cannot make this stuff up:

"On her radio program yesterday, Sandy Rios of the American Family Association said that Josh Duggar and Dennis Hastert, who have both been accused of sexually abusing minors, are the victims of a conspiracy against conservatives.

“What he did was wrong but I think maybe even the verbiage in describing it doesn’t describe the actual thing that happened,” she said of Josh Duggar. “It does seem very much to me that they are again the subject of targeting in order to completely destroy the family, it’s just an amazing thing.”

She added: “Something should go off in someone’s head about the way in which conservatives, social conservatives, are being systematically targeted. It’s going to happen and it’s been happening for a very long time.”

They have no idea what family values are.

The entire Republican party and their supporters are nothing

but thieves and con artists.

They hide behind their religion of choice.

They hide behind their loopholes and tax evasion.

Sick evil fucks.

Sometimes inappropriate euphemisms are beyond cover-up. I hope that the name Hastert will now be be used to mean lying, hypocritical sexual predator of teenage boys.

Oh, how the wingnuts try to twist the truth.

Hastert is an ADMITTED serial child predator. The judge did not allow Hastert to get away with his euphemistic "mistreated" statement, but was required by the judge to admit to each case of sexual child abuse in open court before sentencing.

From the New York Times (bolding mine):

Dennis Hastert Sentenced to 15 Months, and Apologizes for Sex Abuse

The defendant is a serial child molester,” said Judge Thomas M. Durkin of Federal District Court, as Mr. Hastert sat impassively, often staring downward, hands crossed on his lap. He added, “Some actions can obliterate a lifetime of good works. Nothing is more stunning than having ‘serial child molester’ and ‘speaker of the House’ in the same sentence.

“You said you mistreated athletes. Did you sexually abuse Mr. Cross?” he asked.

“I don’t remember doing that, but I accept his statement,” Mr. Hastert replied.

Did you sexually abuse Victim B?” Judge Durkin asked, referring to one of at least two other former wrestlers whose names have not been made public.

Mr. Hastert paused. “Yes,” he said.

How about Mr. Reinboldt – did you sexually abuse him?” Judge Durkin asked.

Mr. Hastert said that was “a different situation,” but eventually acknowledged the abuse.
