I also read a couple of other strange things about him in relation to the assassination, one being a strange letter he wrote about it - details escaping me at the moment, but some of the strangeness is in this letter (http://www.rense.com/general62/letter.htm), and then the other bizarre thing you can look up is what may or may not have happened to Dorothy Kilgallon, who was supposedly going to write an expose.

The second two references are definitely for conspiracy theorists, but I agree that George HW Bush said he didn't know where he was when it happened.

They had set a big console TV for the kids to watch. After he was shot, the Principal, Mr. Stevenson, turned off the television and dismissed the school. I walked four blocks home. Back then, kids did not wait for their parents to pick them up. Anyone who lived close enough not to need to ride the "Blue Bird Bus" walked. About twenty of us walked in the same direction. I don't remember what we talked about.

(And the powers that Be never thought that Woodward and Bernstein's "funny accounts" in the Washington Post would amount to anything.

Some people that have studied the JFK assassination point out that Bush the Elder was CIA, and that there is that official memo that shows a George Bush being in Texas on the day of the Assassination.

There was another George Bush that worked for the CIA, but he denied that the Bush mentioned in the memo was him.


It is important to note that at least one of the oil vessels registered to Bush the Elder during the late 1950's and 1960's was possibly also utilized to gather intel regarding Cuba.

J Edgar Hoover would write a memo stating that he was met with several persons telling him not to investigate the JFK shooting. Hoover filed the paper inside 10,000 other pages. Was not found for several decades.

BTW... NIXON was in Dallas, in a plane at the airport, with LBJ! There's a document floating around, and I KNOW that Octafish has it in his Journal, that shows where "a Mr. George Bush, of the Zapatta Oil Company, called about 40 minutes AFTER the assassination, giving info on a conversation he overheard about someone plotting to kill the President. He was in route TO Dallas..." yet there's a picture of Poppy IN Dallas at the time of the shooting, and I saw a picture the other day that was supposedly Ted Cruz' father with Lee Harvey Oswald... don't know if it is true or not, but isn't the first time I have heard his name linked to the murder of JFK...
