So my congressman endorsed Trump

So I needed to let him know my thoughts. So I told him in an email.

He is a Republican, I knew he would vote for the GOP nominee. I understand that. Trump does not need his or any other member of congress' endorsement. He could have just kept quiet.

I may have mentioned a few specific criticisms. Bigotry. Insults to women. Total ignorance of government and foreign affairs. Attitudes that are not Christian which he claims to be.

I believe I used the words disappointed, horrified and appalled.

I hope he got my point. I am sure there will be a meaningless standard reply.

I may have said that I do think Cruz is worse.

In my neighborhood, the question "Are you voting for Trump?" is a joke, a cruel joke.

I can't believe that Trump can get many votes in California.

Even some of the pro-lifers who vote knee-jerk Republican are considering voting for Bernie or for nobody. Trump will have to make up votes in other states because California is not going to be Trump country even if he wins irrelevant hater votes in an irrelevant hater Republican primary.

NEXT

You may remember that study from last year that made it quite clear that congress pretty much only cares about the rich.

Attach a few Tubmans and send it USPO then someone may pay attention.

Sorry for being so cynical

your Congressman holds a Town Hall meeting or appears at the local GOP Central Committee you should be there. Read your letter to him in front of an audience. The problem with these politicians is they can keep the wide spread disgust with their behavior hidden from the majority of their constituents.

They may respond publicly with a load of BS but you will have called attention to his transgressions to as many voters as possible.

congress critters are sensitive to being called out in public.
They all have a staffer that googles the congress critters name daily or more.

you did take the opportunity to blow off some steam.

I live in a very liberal community and I don't know how I would handle living in an ultra conservative community. Good luck and strength to you.
