What Is This Story About A Security Leak That May Have Come From The WH?......

I heard a mention of it on CNN this morning while I was in the other room and didn't hear the whole story.

Now why would somebody in this WH leak something that could hurt our national security? Is this a case where the leak could have come from some Repug and they are now blaming it on the WH - because that would hurt Obama from a national security standpoint. It would go along with the Repug and Rmoney's saying that Obama is un-american? They said the FBI is investigating this link. Has the WH commented on this yet?

The administration allowed some of it for a movie, and hasn't gone after the others the way they did Manning (though the FBI is on the latest).

You can look at is as the administration deciding that this information doesn't hurt national security, so no big deal.

Or that the administration has risked national security to release propaganda that enhances the president's image.

As always, both sides will assert that they are 100% right and we won't have a discussion of whether or not any damage was done.

for political campaigning reasons. Per Romney, it is so Obama will appear "tough"

He says Obama is risking national security for his political campaign.

This is typical REpublican bullshit.

Whitehouse says they did not leak Iran cyberattack on Iran's nuclear program.

And of course, why would they? It is an ongoing program and now Iran knows about it.

McCain has jumped on this talking point too.
