NTDB -- the opposite of GOTV

When you concede while people who have been waiting in line to vote for hours are still waiting the message is clear:

Next Time Don't Bother

Perhaps there should be something like the Norquist pledge for Democratic candidates: We will not concede until all the votes are counted or at the very earliest, the day after the polls close. Set this as the expectation and stick with it.

Also, Voting expanded from white male landowners centuries ago so why are we still voting on a workday? and in the age of electronics, why are we still waiting in lines to vote in person ?
