Did you do crazy stuff by yourself?

The creepy part to me about Romney impersonating a cop is that he did it by himself

Thinking back, a lot of crazy things were really really funny back then. But, it was
more focused on being with a group and laughing together about it. It was more
a "performance" to make your friends laugh.

Aside from a friend of mine who would carry an empty hanger with a dry cleaning
bag over his shoulder just to react with people who stopped him to say "Hey, you
lost your dry cleaning clothes." and would somehow get a christmas tree in July
just to have people shocked that he was putting it up....I can't think of anyone
doing something like Romney did.

It usually starts by one saying lets go do this and everyone else in the room saying yeah.

Maybe you might do something crazy and be the only one doing it, but it was concocted with and assisted by others.

alone with a million pictures of someone tapped to the wall.

this, coupled with the gay bashing incidents, truly makes you pause.

What helps him though is his straight laced persona now. It's hard
to imagine him doing this stuff since he is such a nerd now.

they too have done that strange action at some point. Or, they will claim that everyone does it.

Romney appears to be strangely unique. Has anyone else ever admitted to putting a dog in a carrier on the roof? I've never heard a single person or instance of that happening. And dressing as a cop? Outside of Halloween, the only people doing that are criminals (or kinkier than me.)

At the convention Romney will admit that Ron Paul won Iowa and all the rest and they'll all have a big laugh.

Most of the dumb and crazy things I did as a teen and young adult were prefaced by, "I was drunk..." and involved mostly my own humiliation directly related to the effects of alcohol. I'd say the same for all of my friends. Or it was stuff that everybody does. TP'ing someone's house. Going for a joyride in the farmer's fields. Whatever. Romney came up with really screwed up stuff.

It was usually with a bunch of friends. And it was always the fun kind of crazy, nobody got hurt. I had a friend who would put up the Christmas stuff at the end of July and had a Christmas party. We all brought gag gifts. Good times.

I do like the empty hanger thing.
