Keep saying that Trump's pick of his VP will bring in "women, minorities, (fill in the blank).

To me, aren't people smart enough to realize that someone like Trump who would pick a VP candidate for that purpose is still going to DO as he pleases? He may pick a woman as a running mate, but isn't that perfectly transparent for his goal? A mere figurehead? People really fall for that pandering? Wait...I know the answer to my own question. LOL

But it fascinates me that the strategy is enumerated completely, and there are so many who simply don't "get it".
