Jeb Bush: "this was probably my time."

-- An influential figure in the Republican Party, Bush rejected calls from some party leaders during the campaign for him to seek the Republican presidential nomination.

When asked about his presidential aspirations, Bush said, "this was probably my time."

"I think there is a window of opportunity in life for all sorts of reasons," he added. "Although I don't know given what I believe and how I believe it, I'm not sure I would have been successful as a candidate either."

Now to some that may seem a trifle crazy, but I have been watching Republicans for a while and telling a whopper like that is nothing.

He's seen what the job does to people up close...and how unrewarding it can be. It's a lot better life making big coin and not having to turn his life inside out for the years it takes to run and then hold the office.

Colomba (sp?), Geo. P., and the daughter with substance abuse problems in her past could have withstood the pressure.

Besides, why do these people think that the USA needs to have their values and behavior and decisions inflicted on us?
