When asked about his presidential aspirations, Bush said, "this was probably my time."
"I think there is a window of opportunity in life for all sorts of reasons," he added. "Although I don't know given what I believe and how I believe it, I'm not sure I would have been successful as a candidate either."

(31,706 posts)He's seen what the job does to people up close...and how unrewarding it can be. It's a lot better life making big coin and not having to turn his life inside out for the years it takes to run and then hold the office.

Besides, why do these people think that the USA needs to have their values and behavior and decisions inflicted on us?
