I hope it's not the Obama campaign handing out these signs, because honestly it's a desecration of the Flag. Before anyone gets all over me:
Writing on Flags
The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature. (U.S. Code, Title 4, Chapter 1, Section 8(g))
. . . and the code is mostly un-enforcable and open to interpretation. It's not being abused or disrespected here; it's being celebrated as part of our election process.
People have better things to worry about.
