Remember when Palin admonished Obama for his Special Olympics slip up on Leno?

Back around 2008 Obama appeared on Jay Leno and made an admittedly bad joke about his own bowling score comparing himself to a Special Olympics participant and Sarah Palin-- who is the mother of a child with a disability--- was all over it in the news.

It doesn't excuse the president's off-color joke--- and he did apologize later at his spontaneous and less than thoughtful attempt at humor--- but it is significant to note that Sarah Palin is now endorsing someone who mocked a reporter with a disability. And I don't recall her saying one iota about it.
