(99,710 posts)Trump changed his positions on transgender bathroooms, SS, Medicare, and Muslims, all to reflect GOP orthodoxy.
Them's the facts !!!
Hillary has changed some positions as well but not nearly as quickly and violently to reflect Democratic orthodoxy.
Them's the facts too !!!

(24,692 posts)Hillary, often quote the time Trump said something that proves their point - ignoring all the times he said exactly the opposite.
That is the beauty of a politician flip-flopping on every issue. People who are unhappy with their own party's candidate can always find a Trump quote that shows he is "to the left" or "more liberal" or "more progressive" than a Democratic candidate. And Trump can sit back and smile at the dissension he causes in his opponent's party.

(99,710 posts)I would also argue that the issues Trump has flip flopped on go to a person's core. IMHO, we can argue on the merits of TPP but issues such as treating undocumented workers and their families, Muslims, and transgender people with dignity and respect goes to a person's core. I question the basic character of someone who suggests they should be accorded respect one day and not be accorded respect the next day. Actually I question the character of anybody who holds the latter position at any time,
The Hawthorne quote nails it:
