Serious question - how many elected or unelected officials at any level

are on opiates or other painkillers, legal or illegal?

What if they have to follow voting orders because others know.

I have always wondered if that came into play with the 2000 Supremes decision to steal the election from Gore - and that was nearly 16 years ago when there was no serious problem.
