"I completely believe law enforcement is an oppressed minority."

"There's a war on cops, but it's more than just a physical war," Randy Sutton, the head of the New York-based nonprofit Blue Lives Matter NYC, told VICE.

Should America's Cops Be Protected by Hate Crime Laws?
There are dozens of Blue Lives Matter support groups across the internet, and a seemingly official organization based in NYC. Perhaps most important, over the last few months, at least two Blue Lives Matter bills have been introduced around the country which, if passed into law, would treat cops as a protected class vulnerable to hate crimes.

Happening with the fundy religious, and the the clowns that took over the wildlife refuge, now the cops.

because of the power that they hold. Hitler convinced the German people that they were an abused minority and thus they had to do something about those who were making them suffer. The Concentrations Camps held not just the Jews but a who lot of other people he used as his scapegoats.

Germany saw themselves as abused by the treaties that ended WWI and they were more or less right on that issue but when it came to who to blame they were dead wrong.

Maybe people are just tired of the growing police state, the near-total lack of accountability, and cops acting like they have a license to steal your stuff because a dog looked at it funny.

Then of course they should be protected if attacked because they are a person of color, LGBT, or whatever.

But for being a cop? No.

They can only kill with impunity most of the time, and sometimes they have to take paid administrative leave until the news cycle blows over.

If that's not oppressed, I'd like to know what is.
