Rosa declined to step before Judge Peter Doyle after rising from his seat. When he eventually approached to the podium, Rosa interrupted the veteran judge on many occasions as Doyle tried to determine whether he gave the required information to the probation department needed for arraignment.

(50,557 posts)Sovereign citizens believe laws are a one-way street: the ones made to protect the sovereign citizen from the Evil Government are valid, but the sovereign citizen isn't required to obey any laws himself unless he agrees with them (but since sovereign citizens don't agree with ANY law governing their behavior...).

(6,324 posts)If you get into any kind of dispute with one they will use the legal system to file all sorts of bogus documents against you.
A deputy I worked with went to sell his home only to find somehow a sovereign but af had managed to file a lien against it. Everyone knew it was bogus, but it still had to be removed before the sale and that took months to make happen.
