I believe that Freepers should get equal pay for equal work with Trump-trolls... One day, you will not find satellites of ANY nation, especially China, funny, unless cowards still run them from Beijing. Would you like a close encounter of the third kind with one or more? Did everyone read the Albuquerque Journal where a small organized group of rioters, moved iinto the area after Trump fans and protestors left. They did a lot of damage. Similar riots have occurred in other cities, after Trump rallies; but we got hit the hardest by the street version of paid Trump-trolls. Our local police did their duty with minimal violence and a few arrests, while being pelted with rocks.

Moderators, who work or read General Discussion Primaries and D.U. realize that a LOT of well-paid, Trump-trolls will invade the General Discussion forum, after the Democratic Primary Election. Hell, we still have unpaid Bush-Monkeys lurking around Democratic Underground. Well paid Trump-trolls will increase posts in this forum, after the primary, do not let the large number of posts fool you. Many of these invaders will have thousands of bashes at Obama, Hillary or Bernie to their credit. These people will attack good, new writers, who recently joined Democratic Underground and then chase them away forever, while impersonating a democrat, progressive, atheist, transsexual, etc. They chase away Christian readers and conservative Democrat readers too. Serious political writers, who might only have a few hundred, need this extremely large group of readers. If off-duty moderators or forum hosts are allowed to reply, I think they will join me in warning readers about a pending electronic invasion of imposters, increasing commenting in this forum.

All you need to do is place an image link in the post and read the log file on the server. You'll have the computer address of every thread viewer at the IP level.

I did this to George W. Bush on Facebook once, the day he went on Fb. He was naive enough to have an open discussion forum. I posted a link to How Kerry Votes Were Switched to Bush Votes and an image. Within minutes I had the address of Bush's computer and passed it on to ethics "investigators" in DC. And a few minutes later Bush's Fb Discussion area disappeared forever.

It looks like she has الله tattooed on her cheek. Several people at DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND claimed the photograph was fake. Comparable to attackers of Illma Gore, street-version, Trump-trolls start riots in cities, after his audience and protestors leave. They hunted her down and assaulted her during a Trump rally in her hometown.

But the Grinch,

The Grinch hated Freedom!
and the whole Constitution!
Don't ask why he supports Bill of Rights Resolution.
It could be that he never got screwed just quite right.
It could be, while pregnant, his mom drank to get tight.
But I think that the most likely reason of all
May have been that his brain was two sizes too small.

But,
Whatever the reason,
His brain or disease,
He stood on the Hill, hating the Frees,
Staring down from the White House, with a sour Grinchy face
At the warm hearts below, of the whole human race.
For he knew every Free, in that big Free-ville nation
Was busy at work, to pay for vacation.

"And they're driving their cars!" he sighed with a moan.
"But after election, they’ll all sit at home!"

Oil prices rose and the economy went down.
And you’d think those Frees would run him from town.
National debt went way up, which the Grinch found quite funny
But he tricked them again by printing more money!
All the Frees seemed asleep. Quiet snow filled the air.
All the Frees dreamt American Dreams without care
How’d he get in the White House? Well, it wasn’t quite fair.

"This is stop number one," that Grinch Cross-Dresser hissed
And he snuck to their car, with a can in his fist.
Then slid in the siphon, a rather tight pinch.
But if gas thieves could do it, then so could the Grinch.
He got gas in his mouth, for a moment or so.
But he knew without gas those cars wouldn’t go!
Then he went to a church, where cars parked in a row.
"These Christians," he grinned, "are too dumb to know!"

Then he slurped and slunk, with a smile most insane,
And sucked on his siphon, like Free candy-cane!
Toyotas and Dodges! Chevys and Fords!
There’s been no worse crime, since Huns ran in hoards!
He filled all his cans, in a manner quite stern
And lit up a match but the stuff wouldn’t burn!
Then called on his phone, while starting to frown
In Houston, they said “it’s too watered down!”

He knew low octane was real cheap to make.
And kept right on trying, while screaming “Petes sake!”
Then an idea arose, in his mind like a boil.
"I’ll go inside NOW and steal heating oil!"
The Grinch grabbed their supply, and started to shove
When he heard a small sound like the coo of a dove.
He turned around fast, and he saw a small Free!
Little Cindy-Lee Free, who was not more than three.

The Grinch had been caught by this little Free daughter
Who'd got out of bed for a cup of cold water.
She stared at the Grinch and said, "Christian Claus, why,
"Why are you taking our heating oil? WHY?"

You know, Grinch wasn’t smart but still oh-so-slick
He thought up a lie, and he thought it up quick!
"Why, my sweet little tot," the fake Christian lied,
"This oil will only light up on one side.
"So I'm recalling it back to Houston, my dear.
"I'll fix it up there. Then I'll bring it back here."

And his fib fooled the child. Then he patted her head
And he got her a drink and he sent he to bed.
And when Cindy-Lee Free went to bed with her cup,
HE went to the fireplace to light their oil right up!

Then the last thing he saw, way down the Free-hall
Was a framed Constitution, which hung from the wall
He set fire to the parchment, that nasty old liar.
But while it was burning, the Grinch caught on fire!
Unlike cheap gas, crap burns pretty well
Maybe that con would soon sear in Grinch-Hell!

Then
He did the same thing
Although singed to a cinder
Leaving every car empty
He even stole a fender!

And as sleepy-head Frees, all slept in their bed
He packed the High Court, without using his head
It was quarter past dawn... a good time to snooze
As he loaded the Court, with Nazis on booze…
All unadorned crooks, no ribbons or wrappings!
No tags or tinsel! No trimmings or trappings!
He’d raise fuel prices, as high as Mount Crumpit,
Then call his stock-broker and tell him to dump it!

"He, he, he on Free-Orleans!" he was grinch-ish-ly humming.
"They're finding out soon that relief is not coming!”
"They're waking up now! I know how they'll be!”
"Their mouths will hang open a minute or three…”
"Then, the Frees down in Free-ville will all cry WE SEE!"
"That's a noise," grinned the Grinch,
"That I simply must hear!"

So he paused. And the Grinch put a hand to his ear…

Having been here in the days leading up to the Iraq War, I certainly can appreciate it, takes me right back to the feelings we were all having back then, anticipation, fear and anger! Well done!

I don't remember what my first post was and I can't access it since it was back on DU.1, but I do remember that my old friend, newyawker99, welcomed me on my very first post!

She keeps getting elected as a Democrat in the New York State Assembly, because she recruits and organizes lawyers to provide free legal representation to abused women. Here is an article - in a series - which eventually became about a veteran, who claimed to have been a Weatherman. He recently died in Massachusetts:

About a 1.56 million people in America spent at least one night in a homeless shelter last year, according to The National Alliance to End Homelessness. In these tough economic times, that number is likely going to increase.

That’s only the measurable tip of the iceberg. People who became homeless and moved in with friends or relatives elevates the number immeasurably higher.

While data is not available, many of the children of homeless families go on to become homeless themselves at a high rate.

“Mom” is one of those statistics. Mom, as everyone calls her, is a spry 68 years old. She cleaned houses to raise her children. Three out of her five children are chronically homeless. Only one is currently homeless, though. Mom now collects Social Security and lives in federal housing. Her daughter, a recovering heroin addict, is homeless and on the Methadone Program. Even on the program, methadone is fairly expensive, so her daughter relies on prostitution to pay for the drugs. Drugs are common in this sector of humanity.

As we sit in the park chatting, my friend - a homeless veteran - speaks to another homeless individual he met at the local mission, as he shuffles from trash-can to dumpster. He's collecting cans and bottles. In MA we have recycling, so there's a .5 bounty on each container. Lots of homeless get their drinking money in this way. Alcoholism runs high with the homeless. It helps them forget.

Mom can’t allow her daughter to sleep over because of federal regulations. In fact, Mom is upset because a friend of hers took in another homeless person, which broke the rules of the building. Now her friend will also become homeless, again. Her friend has some serious psychological issues.

The homeless veterans’ job was filled. He says that he has a lead on a better construction job. Construction jobs are hard to find in America these days. People that think the homeless don’t want to work should be horse-whipped.

I took him by another veterans’ apartment so that he could get a shower. My other veteran friend is service connected from catching plenty of led, so he gets more money than me. He paid my buddy $20. to clean the kitchen. Keep your fingers crossed about his perspective job.

These people asked me to thank you for caring. We're hoping the publicity will help alleviate some of the problems. For them, it's just nice to know that people care.

I'm aware that the veterans in this country are having a particularly difficult time these days and I think it's a crime - since they gave us their best and deserve no less than the best in return.

I'm in a fairly rural part of northeastern NY (Hillary Clinton was my senator and she was replaced by Kirsten Gillibrand who used to be my congresswoman here in NY-20 ) and there is a homeless problem and an even more pressing problem of drug addiction - particularly heroin, which is scary. They are addressing it with Drug Treatment Court at the county level - treatment rather than incarceration - which is only a good thing. I have known several people who have participated and though it's a very rigorous program, those who have been through it have ended up being grateful for it.

They even offer what they call "supportive living," a group of apartments where those who are doing well enough to handle it are able to transition back into the mainstream. We need more of these programs, though it's not uncommon for those who have "graduated" to go into counseling - so they can pass on their knowledge and experience.
