(65,490 posts)My brother had sent me something in a small box--no more than 6 inches tall and 6 inches wide.
As soon as the box was empty, Sammy squeezed himself into it, but he could barely get his legs and a small part of his butt into it, so he looked ridiculous.
Then, because more of him was outside the box than in it, his top-heaviness caused him to topple gently to the side, legs still stuck in the box. So he lay there, pretending to be perfectly satisfied with the whole situation, looking at us as though to say, "This is exactly what I meant to do."
This is sort of how Sammy looked in the box, though more of him was left on the outside, but he was stuffed just as tightly into it:

(43,853 posts)Thanks for these!! Our cat, Freddie is a very large girl. Her weight fluctuates between 22 and 25 lbs. (poor thing's been gaining and losing the same 3 lbs. since we've had her). Freddie's tried to squeeze herself into boxes much too small for her, at times she's even exploded them trying to fit. Freddie and her boxes are like me and my skinny jeans.

(77,769 posts)I feed Crook fancy feast as his main breakfast, lunch & dinner + some feline greenies. I don't really feed him much dry cat food.

(43,853 posts)Dry food is easier to manage with the number of cats we have.

(43,853 posts)days. We had thunderstorms over the weekend. We had some on Saturday night that must have been pretty bad. They literally scared the crap out of one of my client kitties.

(43,853 posts)She's staying at grandma's house while the whole family is away at a wedding. I think the stress of the storm, combined with the stress of being away from home, upset her digestive system. She has IBS. Everything was fine today. Her family comes home tomorrow, so things will be back to normal for her soon.

(43,853 posts)I told my client they need to make Smilin' Sammy an internet sensation. They could make a fortune. I wish I had a cat who was meme-worthy, my furries are basically pieces furniture that eat and need medical care.
