Donald Trump's campaign is one hot mess and Secretary Clinton is ready for him.

But two things concern me. First, I share your worry that Mr. Trump's moment of epic implosion cannot happen too early. September or October would be best, especially if it were during a debate. What a show that could be!

Second, Democrats cannot be complacent. We need to fight at every level of government to put Democrats in office.

However, it will be fun watching his melt down.

Trump is self-destructing and won't do anything to change his negative trajectory. He'd doomed already. Most of us won't even need to bother voting at this point now.

I even made it a hobby to bookmark the hundreds and hundreds of "Trump will win," posts I see around here, just because of how utterly ludicrous it is.

Trump's appeal. It's hardly a secret that I don't like Clinton or that I strongly opposed her during the primary, but I think Trump's complete meltdown is inevitable. I also thought Shield's comment about tRump on the teleprompter was spot on and an important observation.

I said last summer Trump was a serious threat to win the nomination, and by Thanksgiving said he had it in a sleeper hold.

Because he was the out and out embodiment of the actual voters the republicans have conned to win a LOT of elections for three decades now.

But. the general is a different thing, it isn't the childish, self absorbed, petulant repubilcan bubble.

And, while it is very popular to bash Hillary, her primary strength that totally gets overlooked is her toughness, and as noted in the OP, she is super disciplined.

Anything can happen, but ...

He can hold it together until after their convention.
