Orlando Shooting Is Likely to Dominate Congressional Agenda

The mass killings in Orlando will overtake events in Washington and dominate Congress this week as lawmakers seek answers and possible responses in the wake of the United States’ deadliest shooting attack.

Public and classified briefings were already being scheduled on Sunday to allow lawmakers and others to hear from law enforcement officials on what happened as well as on whether any links to terrorism contributed to the attack.

the reasoned position is allowing those on FBI watch-lists closer scrutinity with firearm purchases of any kind....conservatives and NRA fight all reasonable background checks....this is the focus....not outright banning of any weapons..

let NRA and conservatives fight against reasonable background checks....that is a LOSING position with the majority of americans.....if it turns into banning firearms on any level, its loser for democrats....

They'll bluster and blather. Maybe offer up phoney prayers and meaningless condolences. Then they'll get down to the real business of kissing the NRAs ass, while taking more bribes, errr campaign contributions and take no action.

excuse me?

Benghazi was virtually fabricated from whole cloth by the right wing.

how in good conscious are you able to conflate Benghazi with Orlando?
