After Orlando Attack, Former GOP Senator Endorses Hillary Clinton For President

Before you all dismiss this, I recommend you read his comments in the article. Very same and sensible, indeed.

Former Senator Pressler says we need to enact some degree of gun control. And he says we cannot talk to/about Muslims in the way Donald Trump does.

1. Larry Pressler is a good guy. He's the closest thing the GOP had to a moderate when he was in

Congress. I'm glad to see that he's taking a stand.

some other former GOP Senators come out for Hillary, if Trump remains as the nominee. In fact, I'll be more surprised if I don't.

I'm thinking specifically of Richard Lugar (R-IN), who is also a good guy.

12. Because anything that even mentions Hillary or Sanders is considered a Primary thread by the hosts

at least until the 16th.

This is Skinner mentioning it:

Further, here is Skinner saying that by doing this we are actually preparing the forum for the General election because the Primary forum will be converted into the general election forum:

Finally here are just a few of the threads that I have had to lock as a host for simply mentioning one candidate or another:

I am just trying to help the OP avoid a lock.

I don't consider her a "good guy". She's very conservative, but maybe she'll see the hot mess they're in with Trump.

I wish the transformation would take place sooner than that.

13. I think that plenty of Republicans are going to quietly pull the lever for Hillary.

A few may say it publicly, but others can't risk it because they are still in office. There are those who will put the country first and cannot fathom a Trump presidency.

She was, and still is, one of them. Republicans always vote for their kind.
