Cats are often seen as graceful creatures known for their ability to land on all-fours.
But one cat, who goes by the name Kitty, is an exception to that rule.
The frolicsome feline is trouble in every sense of the word, and in any one day can get tangled in paper, stuck in a box or wedged between the bed head and the wall.
Kitty's behaviour was so mischievous it was deemed too much for her owners.
The poor moggy was shunted between five foster carers before one brave owner took pity and adopted her for good.
And unlike the rest Kitty's new owner, who lives in New York, saw something in her that no one else did, and the pair went on to find Instagram fame.
Trouble: Kitty the cat is known for her troublesome ways and hilarious facial expressions
Up to mischief: In any one day she can get tangled in paper, stuck in a box or wedged between the bed head and the wall
So adorable: Her behaviour was so out of control Kitty went through five foster homes
Settling down: The frolicsome feline finally found her forever home with a woman in New York
'My mom knew I was just being a kid, besides who wouldn't love this face,' Kitty's Instagram page reads
Online following: Kitty's daily antics are shared through the popular Instagram page The Kitty the Cat
Cat out of the bag? Not in this case it seems, as Kitty finds herself stuck in a paper bag on the door handle
Surprise! No one seems as surprised as Kitty herself whose face appears to say it all when she gets up to mischief
Big world out there: The troublesome cat scaled a window inside the New York apartment where she lives
Making a mess: Clean washing is no match for Kitty, who loves to lay all over her mum's clothes

(26,404 posts)This is *normal* cat behavior for a cat who is comfortable with their environment. As a cat-person it is the type of behavior I encourage and have seen in many of my fur-babies over the years.
Am glad she has a forever home.

(9,264 posts)Certainly nothing to warrant "returning" her 5 times.
But maybe it had to happen that way for kitty to finally find her forever home.
Poor cat shouldn't get a bad reputation over it though. :tic:
Personally I find her entertaining and adorable.

(5,946 posts)There was the original owner who put her n a shelter with the warning she was vicious and should not be adopted. But she was little and cute and someone adopted her after being told she was vicious, she was returned the same day for biting. and so on for the next 2 adoptions. Finally they put her on a retirement farm where the dogs ran free and lived in a barn, but my dog was not allowed to do that because the owner (foster) had small children and didn't want a vicious dog running around, so she was kept in a crate in the cat room and taken out twice a day for walks. I adopted her when she was some older age

(23,156 posts)but happy beyond measure that someone finally did.
There is an amazing world out there for those who appreciate our feline (and our canine) friends.
I know. I am the humble human companion of a cat who wandered into our front yard some years ago, starving and flea infested, who'd clearly decided we were her last best hope at life. We took her in, and it was the very best thing I've ever done. We already had two cats, and integrating this third into our household took time and a fair amount of flying fur. In the end, they all made peace, and for too short a time all three cats were in my life.
Alas, some years have passed, and none of those cats are with me now, and at the present my life is such that I can't host any feline friends. But someday I will again.
And to anyone who abandons or mistreats any mammals who look to us for support, keep in mind that karma will get back to you.
