Isn't it true that after both party conventions the two emerging candidates will begin to be briefed with classified national security information daily?
Having Trump involved makes my skin crawl.

I didn't realize it started already.
I'm sure that asswipe is viewing this as a business opportunity for himself.

A HERETIC I AM
(24,372 posts)That the day AFTER the election, when and if he is the "President Elect" he will be flown to DC where he takes the REAL oaths of office, namely his security oaths.
It happened to Mr Obama and it has happened to every president in the modern era.
As the President Elect he needs to have access to the latest intelligence briefings.
If he is getting any now, they are cursory. The detail will be complete when he is about to enter office.
And yes, it's a scary thing to contemplate

(28,136 posts)...he would not get any briefing until (god forbid) he was elected?

The "Intelligence community" takes their jobs VERY seriously and do NOT fuck around.
Trust me when I say this, they are as skeptical about Trump as anyone else and would not tell him ANYTHING of a sensitive nature before they must.

It's hard to imagine trusting Trump with anything important.
