Disabled St. Jude patient sues airport and TSA after bloody scuffle with Memphis airport police

http://wreg.com/2016/06/30/disabled-st-jude-patient-sues-airport-and-tsa-after-bloody-scuffle-with-airport-police/

Bloodied and bruised Hannah Cohen was led from Memphis International Airport in handcuffs.

The 19-year old was headed home to Chattanooga after treatment for a brain tumor at St. Jude Hospital June 30, 2015....

Cohen told us she tried to tell TSA agents her daughter is partially deaf, blind in one eye, paralyzed, and easily confused, but said she was kept at a distance by police.

“She's trying to get away from them but in the next instant, one of them had her down on the ground and hit her head on the floor. There was blood everywhere,” said Cohen.

It seems so many of the idiots in uniform think they have to use force. Why didn't they let the young lady's mother be with her? So that they could have an excuse to beat this woman!?

Her mother was with her , and tried to explain her issues to the TSA, but they separated her from her daughter at some point is my understanding and mentioned in the OP
As you ask why didn't they let her mother stay with her once she was ID'd as disabled ???

About the medical damage the fight and the false imprisonment did to this patient.

I think a major lawsuit is in order here. I hope this girl and her family win enough money for her to be taken care of for the rest of her life. That photo is just heartbreaking!
