Here we go: Ryan: GOP will hold hearings on Clinton probe

these fuckers never quit.

Republicans will hold hearings to learn more about the FBI's decision to not recommend criminal charges for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said Tuesday night.

"People have been convicted for far less," Ryan said during an interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox News's "The Kelly File," saying that he thought FBI director James Comey "was going to recommend prosecution" based on the FBI director's opening remarks in a press conference Tuesday.

Ryan said the FBI's decision not to recommend charges "underscores the belief that the Clintons live above the law."

Comey said that while there was evidence Clinton and her staff were "extremely careless" with classified information, "no reasonable prosecutor" would bring a case against her in relation to her use of a private email server while secretary of state.

That's how they use the taxpayers' money when they play their partisan politics game.

And it's a slight change of pace from that same old obstructionism every day.

follow the recommendations. Period.

There was no reason for her to recuse herself. She was not a judge in this case and the FBI came to its conclusions - the ONLY proper ones - after a lengthy investigation of the FACTS.

But thanks for repeating that RWAA (right wing authoritarian autocrat) TP here.

that's all they do.

kevin mccarthy on investigating Hillary:

So now we know: One of the principal reasons Republicans spent so much public money investigating the tragic Benghazi episode was to bring down Hillary Clinton’s poll numbers.

Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), the likely successor to House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), told Fox News’s Sean Hannity explicitly on Tuesday night that the Clinton investigation was part of a “strategy to fight and win.”

He explained: “Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she’s untrustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened, had we not fought.”

The Republican-led House hasn’t been particularly good at governing, but perhaps governing has never been the point. Why govern when there’s a future election to influence?

I'm no HRC fan and don't like the way she handled this, but that pales in comparison to the behavior of these asses. Issa's a criminal who shouldn't be roaming about in civilized society, much less the House Investigations Committee.
