Calling for the murder of white cops is OK, calling for the murder of whites in general is not.

Hate groups hate and call for the injury/attack/murder of members of a distinct group of people, in this case, white cops.

In the internet age, this does appear to constitute a hate group. At least a virtual/digital one.

and thus far this seems to be an extremist and not a hate group. Of course such statistics are always murky as members of very nasty organizations do not generally make themselves known.
