Snopes refutes two Philando Castile stories - wanted for armed robbery and no concealed permit

I've seen both of these on my Facebook feed. In case anyone else runs into them I thought I would post this.

Something called Conservative Treehouse totally manufactured two stories about Philando Castile:
We was wanted for armed robbery
And
The sheriff of Ramsey MN tweeted that he didn't have a concealed carry permit

in order to refute another claim making the rounds - that he was a gang member (crips). Sure would like to debunk that one as well.

Snopes confirms this:

WHAT'S TRUE: Police who pulled over and killed Philando Castile reported they thought he might have resembled a suspect in an armed robbery case.

Probably happens similarly in other group to group comparisons: for many so-and-sos most such-and-suches look alike.

It turns out that Philando Castile wasn't stopped for a broken tail light. He was stopped for being a suspect in an armed robbery.

Why would officers approach the window like that if they believed someone in the car might have committed armed robbery? It makes no sense.
Usually they would stop the car and order them out , hands up , and have the driver and passenger walk backwards toward them. They would not approach the vehicle and go straight up to the window and ask for license and registration and then pull a gun.
