Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg jokes that if Donald Trump wins the presidential election, shell consider moving.
In an interview with The New York Times published Sunday, the Supreme Court justice said her husband, who died in 2010, would have said, Now its time for us to move to New Zealand.
I cant imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president, she said. For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be I dont even want to contemplate that.
Ginsburg, 83, said she will not leave her job as long as I can do it full steam.

(1,717 posts)New Zealand would accept you?
They are pretty choosy.
You've fouled your own nest, and now you think
you'll be welcome to foul another?

(1,717 posts)I've been to NZ three times, great country,
really great humanitarian spirit. And they are
SOLIDLY anti-nuke.
But they are less than impressed with the US
oligarchy and national security elite.
The US political and military elites have tried
to push them around repeatedly.
So tell me why they should welcome our billionaire
refugees.

So I am cautiously optimistic.
