(35,320 posts)Refers to lamb and lion lying down together and being led by a child.
Otherwise, it's considered the height of foolishness to let the least mature lead those who have experience and wisdom. (It's actually listed as a curse and punishment.)
I actually have to agree with you on one point, "it's considered the height of foolishness to let the least mature lead". Such fearful frightened little adult children clinging to their guns. They are terrified! Black man coming gotta take up arms. 100% agree the assholes with the guns should not be leading. They are the least mature, I will leave it to the little children every time.

(5,737 posts)is as memorable as the words and the melody. Notes like a bell, like a clear spring of water.
And by the way, NOLA - good on ya! Although I am a Colorado resident for many decades, NOLA is still my hometown and the home of generations of my family. Growing up there, I learned love and tolerance from many fine teachers as well as my family. Everyone should visit there at least once in his or her life - history, fun, and culinary delights galore!
(P.S. The same goes for Colorado - the mountains are a "must see" experience!)

(9,897 posts)People see people and they even see color...what they LEARN is what they see at home daily.
If children are taught hate, they reflect it back into the world.
If children are taught love, they reflect that too...only it is far better because it lifts the spirit of both the sender and receiver.
Thanks for sharing that picture...it helps!

sheshe2
(83,795 posts)That is a pretty broad brush you use.
Women, blacks, POC, LGBT et all have been fighting for years to make your life better. I assume from your comment that you are young.
We collectively have been beaten, force fed, jailed, stalked, profiled, defiled, reviled, and so much more, years, centuries we have been fighting for you...all for your rights. Your comment is offensive.

(24,579 posts)Lead them, teach them love and tolerance and they will do right when they are adults.
Yes yes yes!
The future. Teach them well. We don't need or want our mothers or fathers hell.
Must have a code, you try to live by
And so become yourself
Because the past is just a goodbye
Teach your children well
Their father's hell did slowly go by
Feed them on your dreams
The one they fix, the one you'll know by
Don't you ever ask them why
If they told you, you would cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you
And you of tender years
Can't know the fears that your elders grew by
Help them with your youth
They seek the truth before they can die
