OREILLY: There [are] still some black Americans who believe that the system is biased against them. The American system because theyre black, they dont get the same kind of shot, they dont get the same kind of fairness that whites do. What do you say to them?
TRUMP: Well, I have been saying even against me the system is rigged when I ran as a, you know, for president, I mean, I could see what was going on with the system and the system is rigged.
When the host told the candidate this sentiment probably wont lift anyones spirits, Trump responded, No, what Im saying is they are not necessarily wrong. I mean, there are certain people where unfortunately that comes into play. Im not saying that. And I can relate it really very much to myself.
Asked if he believes he can understand the African-American experience, Trump added, You cant truly understand whats going on unless you are African-American. I would like to say yes, however.
But even if we put this aside, one of the most striking things about Trumps perceptions of current events is his narcissistic myopia. For Trump, the importance of the mass-shooting in Orlando is something he once said on Twitter. For Trump, the importance of Brexit is how it might affect his golf course. For Trump, the importance of African-American alienation is how similar it is to his treatment during the GOP primaries.
Ask Trump about almost any issue, and hes likely to respond with a sentiment that boils down to, That reminds me of me.

(27,995 posts)His answers clearly show how narcissistic he is. Everything is about HIM. It's truly frightening that he is the GOP's choice for president.

(1,254 posts)Our functioning brains can't relate/make sense out of NONSENSE. But what is very disturbing is HOW his brain is functioning. All the wiring in his brain that transfers/carries his thoughts seem to route them back to his ego. His mental state is programmed to focus on himself. He seems to be incapable of looking at issues without considering himself first. He is so ego-centered, no issue can be about something else. Is Trump's thought process/program stuck? That maybe it may be impossible to wean himself from his ego. Trump is not emotionally equipped to be President.

not joking. even the right wing tool Roe Conn of WGN radio (formerly a star of wingnut flagship WLS), used the exact sobriquet at least two months ago. I thought about suing him on intellectual theft grounds, except the part about the intellect.
everybody needs to watch these, and mass email to anyone you think is stupid enough to fall for this con game:
the whole Cincinnati rant...slide up to about 20 minutes....he gets progressively crazier. it's quite enjoyable
Indiana...even crazier....start at about 19:00...if you don't like, skip to the last 13 minutes or so, when he really leaves the planet! but seriously, this is insanely entertaing, almost from start to finish. he starts growling, almost in spots. then he starts reeling off Indiana football/basketball coaches....Beauty!
