To overthrow developing countries like Chile and Afghanistan and replaced their leaders with murderous dictators like Pinochet. 9/11 was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak.

inhumane brutality that goes on everyday in Turkey. When Erdogan says that the coup plotters will "pay a heavy price", the imagination is the limit for the kinds of horrors that awaits them. Then consider that Erdogun is an Islamist, and you can bet it will be even worse than that.
