France attacker called volatile, showed no jihadist links

In a news conference Friday, hours after the attack in which 84 people were killed and 202 were wounded, prosecutors said they had found no links to the Islamic State extremist group.

Bouhlel had had a series of run-ins with the law for threatening behavior, violence and theft over the past six years. In March, he was given a six-month suspended sentence by a Nice court for a road-rage incident.

Each time he had a crisis, we took him to the doctor who gave him medication," Mohamed Mondher Lahouaiej Bouhlel told BFM television.

"What I know is that he didn't pray, he didn't go to the mosque, he had no ties to religion," said the father, noting that Bouhlel didn't respect the Islamic fasting rituals during the month of Ramadan.

The investigators are a bit baffled by this guy who most assumed was a ISIS style terrorist turns out to have no background at all in radical Islam or ISIS or any other terror organization. So he assumes that he "radicalized very rapidly" like in hours or days. Its almost like the investigator is being sarcastic.

He stated that the investigation revealed that the attacker was rapidly radicalized. So an ISIS attack

'crazy'. This guy was crazy. Severe mental problems, no ties to religion. I hope the media emphasizes these facts.

Magically, a lone, deranged person applies to the letter the advice of ISIS to lone wolves,
without any help, and without his faith informing his decision to commit a mass attack?

Would you be interested in buying a nice big, Brooklyn bridge from me? Practically new.

With proof of direct phone contacts.

it appears to be a case of super-fast radicalization in someone with a frail psyche.
